Holly Hunter is a well-known American actor as well as producer and director. She has been praised for movies like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. The film Piano has won several awards for her which included an Oscar. Actresses have an extensive experience of performing on Broadway as well as Off-Broadway projects. The art of acting has been a constant obsession. When she was in fifth grade, she portrayed Helen Keller in an original play. When she was in the fifth grade following a bout of mumps, she lost her hearing in her left ear. But she didn't let that stop her. The college she attended was drama before moving between Pittsburgh and moved to New York City to follow her dreams. Hunter was trapped in an elevator with the playwright Beth Henley when she met her. They collaborated to create Broadway Crimes of the Heart in which Hunter made her Broadway debut. When she moved to Los Angeles she tried to get film roles and bagged the role of a co-star on Swing Shift. Since she was a part of the film, Holly Hunter has been featured in a variety of series and television films. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame famous person and she has won Women in Film Lucy Award.
